Russia claims to have downed 141 Ukrainian UAVs overnight

Russia's Defence Ministry has claimed that its air defence systems downed 141 "Ukrainian drones", 32 of them over occupied Crimea, on the night of 13-14 December.

Quote: "From 23:00 Moscow time on 13 December to 07:00 Moscow time on 14 December, on-duty air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 141 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles."

Details: The ministry claimed that the largest number of drones was shot down over Bryansk Oblast. Another 32 were reported shot down over occupied Crimea.

Twenty-two UAVs were supposedly shot down over Russia's Krasnodar Krai, 15 over Tula Oblast, 13 over Kaluga Oblast, 7 over Kursk Oblast, 4 over each of Ryazan and Rostov oblasts, 3 over Leningrad Oblast and 1 over each of Pskov, Novgorod and Moscow oblasts.

Background: On the night of 13-14 December, drones attacked an oil depot in the town of Uryupinsk in Russia's Volgograd Oblast as well as, according to social media reports, oil refineries in the Russian city of Yaroslavl and in Krasnodar Krai and a state district power plant in Smolensk Oblast.
