Zelenskyy on next stage of talks: Hope for meeting with Trump after documents are finalised

Details: In response to journalists' questions, Zelenskyy spoke about the next stage of the talks. He said that after the Ukrainian documents are finalised, the US is expected to hold consultations with the Russians in the coming days.
Quote: "And after that, consultations will be held with the US president. After that, our teams will meet – I think our negotiating teams will meet in the United States of America, possibly even over the weekend. And then, after this meeting, we will see. We will consider a meeting at the leaders' level, at least with the US president."

- It was previously reported that the next round of talks between Ukraine and the United States regarding the resolution of the war could take place this weekend in the US, likely in Miami.
- An anonymous US official told Sky News that "90% of issues" between Ukraine and Russia were resolved during the Ukraine-US talks in Berlin.
- Rustem Umierov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, said he expects that Kyiv and Washington would have agreed on common positions by the end of the day, bringing peace closer.
- Earlier, AFP reported that during talks in Berlin on Sunday 14 December, US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner pressed Ukrainian representatives to give up the part of Donbas still under Kyiv's control.
- Following this, Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia urged the public not to trust anonymous sources on the US position in the negotiations.
