Russia claims vessel damaged in Ukrainian drone attack

Yuri Slyusar, Governor of Russia's Rostov Oblast, has reported that a vessel was damaged in Rostov on the night of 17-18 December, supposedly due to a drone attack.

Quote from Slyusar: "A vessel has been damaged in the port of Rostov. Early reports indicate that there are casualties among the crew. Further information is being gathered. Four residents of Bataysk sought medical treatment."
Update: Later, Skryabin said that firefighters were tackling a blaze on a tanker that had "been hit in a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine". He added that fatalities and injuries have been recorded.
Slyusar stated in the morning that two people had been killed in the attack on the vessel.
Quote from Slyusar: "A cargo vessel caught fire due to the attack on the port of Rostov. Two crew members from those on board were killed and three were injured."
Update: The Russian Defence Ministry claimed in the morning that 47 "Ukrainian drones" had been downed in Russian oblasts overnight.
