Ukraine and Portugal agree to jointly produce maritime drones
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro signed an agreement on 20 December in Kyiv to partner on producing maritime drones.

Details: The agreement on joint production of maritime drones was signed after Montenegro arrived on his first visit to Ukraine.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "This is one of the most promising areas of our defence efforts at present. It is important to deliver results. And across all parts of our Europe, there must be sufficient strength to counter any threats, and modern drones are a real tool of defence."
More details: Zelenskyy also thanked Portugal for its contribution to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) programme, which enables Ukraine to buy US weapons, and for supporting a joint European decision on €90 billion for Ukraine over two years.
