Ukrainian partisans sabotage railway hub near Russia's Rostov-on-Don

Partisans from the ATESH resistance movement have disrupted the operation of a Russian logistics hub near Rostov-on-Don, through which the Russians supply fronts in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts, as well as Crimea.

Quote: "Our agents have carried out a successful sabotage operation at a strategic railway junction in Bataysk. The operation of the main logistics hub through which occupation forces are supplied across all southern directions was disrupted as a result of arson attacks on relay cabinets."
Details: ATESH said this critical junction is used by military echelons carrying personnel, armoured vehicles, fuel and ammunition for Russian groupings on the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia fronts, as well as in Donetsk Oblast and Crimea.
Quote: "The sabotage triggered a chain reaction of delays and supply disruptions for the occupiers.
Disruption of the Bataysk station caused logistics problems for the enemy. Military cargo is now getting stuck en route, and the occupiers' operational planning is under threat of failure."
Background:
- ATESH had previously reported successful sabotage operations. In October, it said its partisans paralysed a command system belonging to Russian forces in a border area of Russia's Bryansk Oblast.
- In November, it reported another successful sabotage operation in Rostov-on-Don, where an electric locomotive used to transport military cargo was destroyed.
