Details: Shmyhal stated the overwhelming majority of drones in the arsenal of Ukrainian soldiers are domestically produced.

Quote: "This year, 2.4 million FPV drones have been supplied to the armed forces by the Defence Procurement Agency of Ukraine's Ministry of Defence. Most of them are drones supplied under direct contracts with manufacturers. Another 200,000 UAVs have been delivered to the military via the DOT-Chain Defence IT system, which was launched at the end of July."

More details: Shmyhal also pointed out that the number of ground robotic systems in the military's arsenal has increased. He stated that almost 15,000 such systems have been delivered to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year – three times more than last year.

Shmyhal recalled that ground robotic systems perform tasks related to logistics, evacuation, reconnaissance, mining and demining, as well as patrolling. Some ground robots are equipped with combat modules and carry out assault and defensive operations.

Background: At the beginning of December, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief, said that Ukraine's defence forces had been inflicting about 60% of all strikes on Russian targets using drones. In November 2025, Ukrainian units destroyed or damaged 81,500 targets with drones.
