Drones attack Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has claimed that eight drones were destroyed on the night of 24-25 December after attempting to "attack Moscow".

Details: At around 02:00, Sobyanin reported that four drones heading towards Moscow had been destroyed.

At 02:06 and 02:08, he announced the alleged downing of two more drones and then one additional UAV flying towards the city.

At 02:20, the mayor claimed that another drone "attacking Moscow" had been shot down.

Background: Drones attacked Moscow on the night of 14-15 December, with explosions reported. Sobyanin claimed that Russian air defences had downed 15 drones.
