Number of people injured in Kharkiv by Russian attack rises to 15, one killed

The number of people injured in a Russian attack on Kharkiv on 24 December has risen to 15, with one person killed. Two more residents of the oblast were wounded as a result of the attack.

Details: According to the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, Russian forces struck the region using various types of weapons, including multiple-launch rocket systems, guided aerial bombs and drones.
In Kharkiv, a multi-storey residential building, three houses, two garages and two cars were damaged. In Zolochiv of the Bohodukhiv district, Russian attacks damaged three houses. In the Kupiansk district, a vehicle in Mytrofanivka was damaged by a strike.
The Russian attack also damaged a car in Male Vesele and a service station in Podvirky in the Kharkiv district, while in Derhachi a civilian company, a building and a warehouse were hit. In the Lozova district, Russian forces damaged a house, warehouse facilities and a car in Bashylivka.
Background: On 24 December, Russian forces carried out a series of targeted strikes on a heat and power plant in a nearby suburb of Kharkiv. At the time, it was reported that one person had been killed and 13 others injured.
