Ukraine's defence forces strike Syzran oil refinery and Shahed drone warehouse in Donetsk Oblast

Units of Ukraine's defence forces struck the Syzran oil refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast on the night of 27-28 December.

Details: Attack UAVs struck the territory of the refinery, causing a fire.

According to the General Staff, this plant is used to support the Russian Armed Forces and its annual processing capacity ranges from 7 to 8.9 million tonnes of oil.

The extent of the damage is unknown.

In addition, Ukraine's defence forces reported strikes on a storage and maintenance site for uncrewed boats, a repair unit of the 1435th Motor Rifle Regiment near the settlement of Antratsyt in Luhansk Oblast, a pontoon crossing near Nikonorivka, and a storage facility for Shahed-type UAVs in Makiivka, Donetsk Oblast.
