Details: Zelenskyy said that during his meeting with US President Donald Trump he had discussed possible formats for an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine.

He stated that such an agreement could resemble NATO's collective defence system, but would not involve Ukraine becoming a full member of the Alliance.

Quote: "We respect President Trump and his decision is powerful, but of course we need Congress for this. [...] It's a bilateral security guarantees, Ukraine-America document, but it's NATO mirror, NATO-like."

Previously: Zelenskyy said Ukraine would like to receive security guarantees from the US for a period of 30, 40 or 50 years.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described recent talks as a success, pointing to US statements about taking part in providing security guarantees for Ukraine.
