Ukrainian air defence downs 101 Russian drones overnight, strikes from 20 drones recorded
Russian forces have been attacking Ukraine since the evening of 30 December with 127 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones. Ukrainian air defence shot down 101 of the drones, but there were also strikes. The attack is ongoing.

Quote: "As of 08:00, air defence units have shot down or jammed 101 enemy UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones, in Ukraine's north, south and east. Strikes by 20 attack UAVs have been recorded at 11 locations."
Details: The Russians launched drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 80 of the UAVs were Shahed-type attack drones.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces.
As of the morning of 31 December, the Russian drone attack is ongoing.
