Russia attacks Ukrainian ports on New Year's Day
The Russian Federation has once again struck Ukraine's port infrastructure with drones on 1 January. During the nighttime air attack, damage was recorded at port facilities in Odesa Oblast.

Quote: "Fortunately, there were no casualties. Piers and equipment at the port of Izmail were damaged.
In the port of Odesa, port equipment, vehicles and certain infrastructure facilities were also hit by debris from enemy drones and the blast wave."
Details: Kuleba said that specialised services and rescue workers are working at the sites of the strikes, and response efforts and damage assessments are under way.
Background: On 30 December, it was reported that Russia had attacked port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast, with damage recorded at facilities in the ports of Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk.
