Fires break out in Chernihiv and oblast due to Russian attack

Fires have broken out in Chernihiv as a result of a Russian attack using ballistic missiles and drones.

Details: Initially, Brazhynskyi reported that "the enemy is attacking one of the companies in our city with ballistic missiles and UAVs."
He later provided more details regarding the aftermath of the Russian attack.

Quote from Brazhynskyi: "As a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out in one of the city's garage cooperatives and in a house in a nearby hromada." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Updated: In the morning, the State Emergency Service reported that a garage cooperative in Chernihiv had been hit, resulting in eight garages being destroyed and 96 damaged. A utility and storage building on the premises of a municipal institution was also destroyed.
In the Koriukivskyi district, Russian UAVs struck a business and a residential property. One of the infrastructure facilities in the Nizhyn district came under Russian attack. Firefighters quickly extinguished all the fires that broke out at the sites of the Russian attacks. There were no casualties.
