Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces hit Russian targets worth US$20 billion in seven months

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces have reported that they have struck over 168,000 Russian targets with an estimated total value of US$20 billion in the seven months since their establishment.

Details: The command said that its units had conducted over 832,000 combat missions during this period.

They have hit 532 tanks, around 2,500 guns and howitzers, nearly 7,700 vehicles and more than 5,500 motorcycles. Drone operators have also killed or injured over 50,000 Russian soldiers.

In addition, the Unmanned Systems Forces conducted attacks on over 350 targets directly inside Russia.

Background:

  • On 5 January, Mykhailo Fedorov, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, said that Ukraine's defence forces had struck 128 Russian air defence systems and radar stations using unmanned systems in December 2025 alone.
  • Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that Ukraine's defence forces use drones in around 60% of all strikes on frontline Russian assets. He also said that the Russian and Ukrainian armed forces each deploy 4,000-5,000 FPV drones per day.
