Ukrainian drone operators from the SIGNUM battalion have used their drones to foil a Russian assault on quad bikes on the road to the settlement of Yampil, Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The soldiers said there was heavy snowfall, strong winds and zero visibility. In such conditions, a Mavic drone cannot take off, so Russian forces decided it was "their chance". Russian forces deployed an assault group on quad bikes, hoping to pass unnoticed, "but miscalculated".

Quote: "The group was detected on the road to Yampil. The SIGNUM battalion drone operators immediately got to work. They worked in pairs – clearly, calmly and without chaos. Coordination, experience and cohesion delivered results. The assault has been stopped. The enemy's manpower has been wiped out. Enemy equipment has been burned."
