Russians attack Ukrainian energy company facility in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: equipment catches fire

The Russians attacked a facility of DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the night of 6-7 January. As a result of the strike, energy equipment caught fire.

Details: The State Emergency Service quickly extinguished the fire, and power engineers have begun restoration work. The repairs are ongoing.

It is also noted that none of DTEK's employees were injured.

Background: As a result of a large-scale overnight drone attack, a significant number of consumers in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were left without power as of the morning of 7 January.
