SSU investigators have classified the use of this weapon against Ukraine's civilian infrastructure as a war crime by Russia.

Quote: "Early reports indicate that the enemy launched a medium-range, ground-to-ground Oreshnik missile from Russia's Kapustin Yar testing range [in Russia's Astrakhan Oblast].

By attacking civilian facilities of our country near the border with the European Union, the Kremlin sought to destroy the region's critical infrastructure amid a sharp deterioration in weather conditions.

SSU investigators are establishing all the facts and the organisers and perpetrators of this war crime committed by Russia in order to bring them to justice."
