Oil depot on fire in Russia's Volgograd Oblast after drone attack

A fire has broken out at an oil depot in Russia's Volgograd Oblast following a drone attack.

Quote: "Debris from a downed UAV has caused a fire at an oil depot in the Oktyabrsky district."

Details: Bocharov reported that emergency services are working at the scene.

The governor added that early reports indicated that no casualties had been recorded. However, he said a temporary accommodation centre "has been placed on standby in case residents of nearby buildings need to be evacuated".

Background: Drones attacked an oil depot in the town of Uryupinsk in Russia's Volgograd Oblast on the night of 13-14 December as well as, based on eyewitness accounts on social media, oil refineries in the Russian city of Yaroslavl and in Krasnodar Krai and a state district power plant in Smolensk Oblast.
