Background:

  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine expects "rapid deliveries of what partners have available" from this Ramstein meeting.
  • Czechia has already offered its assistance in the energy sector.
  • Recently, Zelenskyy declared a state of emergency in Ukraine's energy sector. A coordination headquarters will also be established in Kyiv to operate on a permanent basis.
