Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Details: In addition to killing 946 Russian soldiers, landmines destroyed 196 pieces of equipment.
The General Staff explained that Ukrainian forces use unmanned aerial vehicles to lay explosive devices and traps.
Quote: "Remote mining units now use drones and ground-based robotic systems to obstruct the occupiers' routes of advance and effectively strike their forces and equipment.
Previously, sappers had to enter danger areas on foot, but today these risks are minimised – unmanned systems allow tasks to be performed faster, more accurately and much more safely."
Background: Russia lost 830 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,226,420.
