The most challenging situation in the energy system remains in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts and the city of Kyiv.

Details: Svyrydenko said more than 160 teams of power engineers, utility and railway workers, including teams seconded from other oblasts, are working around the clock to restore electricity and heat supply.

She emphasised that special attention is being given to supplying Kyiv with backup energy sources and distributed generation facilities.
