State Emergency Service releases footage showing aftermath of Russian strike on high-rise in Dnipro

Ukraine's State Emergency Service has released photos and video footage showing the site where a Russian drone struck a 16-storey residential building in the city of Dnipro.

Details: The State Emergency Service reported that the 16-storey residential building was partially destroyed. Fires broke out in two flats, covering a total area of 200 sq m.

First responders evacuated 16 people from the upper floors of the damaged building. Early reports said six people had been injured, including one child.

An emergency psychological support point has been set up at the scene of the strike, where State Emergency Service psychologists are providing assistance to those affected. A heating point has also been deployed for residents.

More than 50 emergency workers and 17 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service have been involved in the response.

Background: Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov earlier reported that a residential building had been hit in the city. He said a 14-year-old girl was among the injured, and three people were not yet in contact.
