Abu Dhabi talks are constructive and may resume next week, Zelenskyy says

Trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States and Russia in Abu Dhabi have been constructive and could continue next week, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

Details: Zelenskyy said that he has received a report from the Ukrainian delegation following the talks in Abu Dhabi.
He said that the two-day trilateral meetings are the first such format in quite some time.
Quote: "A lot was discussed, and it is important that the conversations were constructive."
More details: Zelenskyy said that the core focus of the discussions was the possible parameters for ending the Russo-Ukrainian war.
Quote: "I highly value the understanding of the need for American monitoring and oversight of the process of ending the war and ensuring genuine security. The American side raised the issue of potential formats for formalising the parameters for ending the war, as well as the security conditions required to achieve this."
More details: Zelenskyy said that the parties agreed to report back in their capitals on each aspect of the talks and to coordinate next steps with their leaders.
Quote: "The military representatives identified a list of issues for a potential next meeting. Provided there is readiness to move forward – and Ukraine is ready – further meetings will take place, potentially as early as next week. I expect a personal briefing from the delegation upon its return."
Details: Zelenskyy reported that the talks included military representatives from all three sides. The Ukrainian delegation included Rustem Umierov, NSDC Ukraine Secretary, head of delegation, Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhii Kyslytsia, first deputy to head of Ukrainian President's Office, and Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The US delegation included US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service Josh Gruenbaum, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Alexus Grynkewich, US European Command and NATO Supreme Allied commander Europe.
