Zelenskyy arrives in Lithuania
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska have arrived in Vilnius to take part in events marking the anniversary of the January Uprising.

Details: In Vilnius, Zelenskyy will hold meetings with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Polish President Karol Nawrocki in the Lublin Triangle format. A joint press conference is expected at 17:00 Kyiv time.
The presidents will also take part in ceremonial events marking the 163rd anniversary of the January Uprising – an armed revolt by peoples of the former Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth against Russian autocracy.
The January Uprising took place under the slogan "For our freedom and yours" and is a shared historical experience of the Polish, Lithuanian, Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples.
Background:
- Zelenskyy visited Poland on 19 December, where he met Nawrocki. The Polish president said national memory issues were among the key topics during the presidents' talks in Warsaw and that Poland hopes they will be resolved quickly.
- Zelenskyy described his first bilateral meeting with his Polish counterpart as good.
