Quote: "A car carrying occupiers has been destroyed in the centre of Myrnohrad by operators of first-person view drones from the 79th Tavriia Separate Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces."

Details: The Corps reported that five Russian soldiers had attempted to enter the city centre by car, taking advantage of poor weather conditions. They were spotted by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance, and the coordinates were passed to FPV attack drone operators.

"The result: one invader has been wiped out and four have been wounded. The vehicle has been destroyed," the 7th Rapid Response Corps said.

They added that the operational situation in Myrnohrad remains difficult, as the Russians are trying to gain a foothold in the city centre, where small-arms fighting is ongoing. Russian troops are using small infantry groups and light vehicles to quickly break deeper into the city.

Despite this, fighters from the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade continue search-and-destroy operations in Myrnohrad and its outskirts.

Background: Earlier, Ukrainska Pravda reported that the Russians have established near-total control over the city of Myrnohrad, where they have deployed artillery positions, command posts and a military commandant's office. Ukraine's defence forces are holding positions in the northern part of the city and are trying to prevent Russian troops from advancing further.
