Russians halt prisoner exchanges, Zelenskyy says

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Russia has halted prisoner exchanges because it does not feel that it gains anything from them.

Quote from the president: "The Russians have halted the process. They are not particularly interested in exchanging people, because they do not feel that it gives them anything."

Details: Zelenskyy added that the Russians see prisoner exchanges as being more important for Ukraine than for themselves.

"They believe it benefits us. But I think they should also be thinking about their own people – their own soldiers," Zelenskyy concluded.
