Ukraine war discussed as Xi Jinping speaks with Trump after call with Putin

Update: Donald Trump called the conversation "excellent" and described his relationship with China and with Xi as "extremely good". He said the call was long and thorough, with the sides discussing "many important subjects", including trade, military matters, Trump's upcoming trip to China, expected in April, Taiwan, the war between Russia and Ukraine, the current situation with Iran, China's purchases of US oil and gas, supplies of aircraft engines and many other issues.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Kremlin press service said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping had held talks via video link. According to Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the sides discussed bilateral relations and "key international issues".
