Details: The MLRS was spotted in the area of responsibility of the 17th Army Corps during a sortie intended to target a different asset.

Crews from the Lazar's Group unit deployed bomber drones to destroy the launcher. One pilot struck the Grad MLRS as it moved along a tree line, while a second strike hit its ammunition load, triggering a massive detonation. The explosion was recorded by a camera on another drone from Lazar's Group operating nearby.

The BM-21 Grad is a multiple-launch rocket system used to provide fire support and strike personnel. The estimated cost of one launcher is US$500,000.
