An air-raid warning was issued in Lviv Oblast in Ukraine's west due to a Russian drone attack on the morning of 8 February. Local authorities have said all of them have been shot down.

Details: Lviv Oblast Military Administration reported that explosions had rocked the city of Lviv and the town of Khodoriv at around 08:45.

The authorities said the Russians had attempted to attack critical infrastructure facilities in Lviv Oblast, but Ukrainian air defences had shot down all the drones.

There were no casualties, Lviv Oblast Military Administration said, adding that it will provide further details later for security reasons.

The air-raid warning had been in effect for about an hour.

Background: On the night of 7-8 February, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 101 drones, including about 70 Shahed loitering munitions. Ukraine's Air Force reported that 69 of them had been shot down or jammed.
