Russia continues to attack gas facilities in Poltava and Sumy oblasts

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces again struck facilities belonging to Naftogaz Group, Ukraine's largest national oil and gas company, in Poltava Oblast and carried out new large-scale attacks in Sumy Oblast, which are still ongoing.

Quote: "Emergency Service units and all relevant services are working at the site. Equipment has been damaged and partially destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties."

Details: Koretskyi added that once the security situation stabilises, specialists will begin work to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

He stressed that this was already the 20th attack on Naftogaz facilities since the beginning of the year.

Background: On the night of 7–8 February, Russia also struck Naftogaz Group facilities in Poltava Oblast. Hits were recorded and equipment was damaged.
