Details: The trials took place at the ADK BattleLab and National Security Research Center, in cooperation with the US Air Force and the company Unconventional Concepts, Inc., as part of Future Flag exercise series. During the Operation Fuzzy Bunny testing, the Himera communications system was tested in an operational environment close to NATO standards.

The company notes that the system was used as the primary tool for unit coordination and was employed for day-to-day operations and mission execution after minimal instruction.

Himera notes that its portable radios and autonomous repeaters received positive feedback for their compact size, low weight and energy efficiency.

Based on the test results, solutions developed on the basis of combat experience in Ukraine proved suitable for NATO countries' operational scenarios and provided data for further product development and expanded integration with other systems.

"This testing confirmed that solutions created in real combat conditions remain effective in allies' environments as well. Rapid deployment and reliable performance are most critical in field conditions," said Himera co-founder and CEO Misha Rudominski.

Background:

  • Earlier, Himera reported fulfilling a state order for the Ministry of Defence of a European NATO member state, which has not yet disclosed its name. Following this order, the country is considering further integration of Himera communications systems across a broader range of its units.
  • Himera Radios tested its radios and repeaters in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. The test results were successful.
  • In addition, Himera communications systems have undergone trials with a unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Land Forces. At the time, Himera G1 PRO radios and B1 repeaters were used. The tests were conducted at the base of the 151st Separate Reconnaissance and Strike Battalion.
