Quote: "The second stage of corps reform is now underway. [As part of this] we are redeploying brigades directly to their corps headquarters so that the corps can command their own set of troops."

Details: Syrskyi said this stage also involves building up corps force packages and scaling up units, primarily drone forces. In some corps, drone battalions were reorganised into regiments.

Syrskyi also said the second stage includes completing the creation of artillery brigades within corps structures and strengthening the technological component, including the use of ground unmanned systems for logistics and evacuation of wounded soldiers.

He said this reduces the burden on personnel and therefore losses among Ukrainian forces. Syrskyi added that more than 36,000 servicemembers have been moved during the corps formation process, forming the backbone of command bodies and units within corps force packages.

Quote: "The shift to a corps system has eased the strain on the command-and-control system and significantly improved troop controllability. The reform has also enabled more effective and higher-quality planning and execution of combat missions."

More details: Syrskyi also cited increased Russian losses as another result of the corps reform.
