EU foreign policy chief: EU preparing list of concessions Russia must make

Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, has said that she will propose a list of concessions Europe should demand from Russia as part of any agreement to end the war in Ukraine.

Quote: "Everybody around the table, including the Russians and the Americans, needs to understand that you need Europeans to agree.

And for that, we also have conditions. And we should put the conditions not on Ukrainians, who have been already pressured a lot, but on the Russians."

Details: Kallas said she plans to present the proposed list to EU member state governments in the coming days.

The conditions could include demands for Russia to bring back all Ukrainian children who were unlawfully taken and limits on the size of Russia's Armed Forces after the war ends.
