Pledges for major contributions to Ukraine’s defence expected at Ukraine Defence Contact Group meeting, minister says

Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has announced that pledges of new major contributions to the country's defence will be made to Kyiv at the upcoming meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein format).

Details: Fedorov also said he had met with European defence ministers to discuss new contributions to the Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) programme for procuring critical air defence systems, the financing of Ukrainian drones and missiles, the development of joint defence projects and cooperation in the defence industry.

He said one of Ukraine's goals is to build win-win relationships with partners.
