New video shows Russian BK-16 landing craft and Pantsir-S1 system being struck in Crimea by Ukrainian forces

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) has released a video that shows drones operated by its forces striking a Russian BK-16 landing craft, a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, and a Nebo-U radar system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Details: DIU reported that its special unit Prymary (Phantoms) had struck several pieces of Russian military equipment in Crimea over the past week.

Among the targets were a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, a Nebo-U radar and a BK-16 landing craft.

DIU noted that these targets had been destroyed or damaged as part of operations aimed at weakening air defence units and military infrastructure belonging to Russian forces in the temporarily occupied peninsula.

Background:

  • Ukraine's General Staff reported that on 12 February, Ukrainian forces had struck a Russian BK-16 landing boat near the settlement of Novoozerne and an RSP-10 radar near the settlement of Hvardiiske in Russian-occupied Crimea.
  • On the same day, a communications hub operated by Russian forces was struck near the settlement of Prymorsk in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. On 13 February, an ammunition depot was struck near Novoekonomichne in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast. Information is being gathered on losses and damage.
