Parties close political block of Geneva peace talks as military group meeting continues – Ukrainska Pravda sources

Ukraine, the US and Russia have finished talks on the political block of peace negotiations in Geneva, while the military group is still working.

Details: A source in the Ukrainian delegation told Ukrainska Pravda that by Tuesday evening the delegations wrapped up discussions in the political block, with the military group continuing its work.

Both the political and military groups will resume their work on the morning of 18 February.

Statements from the sides are expected on 18 February following the talks.

Background: A new round of peace negotiations in a trilateral format between Ukraine, the United States and Russia began in Geneva on 17 February.
