Ukrainian drones behind attack on oil depot in Russia's Pskov Oblast, sources say – photo, video

Ukrainian drones launched by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) were behind a strike on an oil depot in the city of Velykiye Luki in Russia's Pskov Oblast, sources have told Ukrainska Pravda.

Details: The oblast governor and Russian Telegram channels reported a drone attack on the city overnight, saying a fire broke out at the oil depot.

Quote from the source: "Anti-drone nets were stretched over the fuel tanks, but they did not stop drones operated by the SSU. The Velykiye Luki oil depot belongs to Pskovnefteprodukt LLC. It stores diesel fuel, petrol and other petroleum products."

Details: The source told Ukrainska Pravda that at least 4 explosions had been heard at the depot, prompting staff at nearby businesses to evacuate in large numbers.

For reference: The Velikolukskaya oil depot is nearly 500 km from Ukraine's state border.
