Details: The fighters say their main tasks are to disrupt Russian plans to advance further in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, defeat the Russian groups, and push them back beyond the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Quote: "Overall, the situation can be described as very dynamic. The Russians are clinging to every metre of seized territory using all available resources, both human and technical, but despite their fierce resistance, our units are carrying out their assigned tasks and, step by step, are liberating our native land.
Since the start of the operation, Air Assault Forces units together with adjacent groups have regained control over more than 300 sq km of territory (cleared of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups) and eight settlements."
Background: On 20 February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine's defence forces have liberated 300 sq km on the southern axis.
