Lviv terrorist attack: three in serious condition, two stable

Three people injured in the terrorist attack in Lviv on the night of 21-22 February remain in intensive care in a serious condition, two others are in a stable condition, and eleven people are receiving treatment at home.

Details: Zinkevych added that two people with moderate injuries are undergoing treatment in the surgical department of St Luke's Hospital; their condition is stable.
Another 11of those injured are being treated at home.
Background:
- On the night of 21-22 February, police responded to a call on Danylyshyna Street in central Lviv, near the Magnus shopping centre, after which an explosion occurred.
- When another police unit arrived at the scene, a second explosion took place. A 23-year-old policewoman was killed and 25 people were injured.
- Police later detained a 33-year-old resident of Rivne Oblast on suspicion of carrying out the attack. Law enforcement officers also released video footage showing the woman planting improvised explosive devices that later detonated.
- As of the evening of 22 February, 12 people injured in the attack remained in hospital.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the attack in Lviv had been organised by Russia, with the perpetrators recruited via the Telegram social network. According to intelligence reports, Russia plans to continue organising similar attacks.
