Russians kill utility worker in Kherson and attack evacuation vehicle in oblast

One person has been killed and two others injured in Russian attacks on Kherson and the oblast on the morning of 24 February. A municipal worker was also injured by an explosive device.

Details: At around 09:00, the Russians launched a drone attack on a facility belonging to one of the utility companies in Kherson's Dniprovskyi district.
"An employee of the utility company sustained fatal injuries on his 62nd birthday while performing his professional duties," the City Military Administration reported.
After 09:00, Russian forces attacked Kherson's Korabelnyi district. A Russian projectile hit an apartment building. A 49-year-old resident suffered concussion and blast injuries.
At around 11:00, the Russians attacked an evacuation vehicle belonging to a charity using an FPV drone in the village of Sofiivka in the Stanislav hromada. A man sustained blast injuries as a result of the strike. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Update: Kherson Oblast Military Administration later reported that at around 13:00, an unidentified object exploded in the centre of Kherson. A 60-year-old municipal worker who had been collecting rubbish sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen as a result. The man is in hospital in a serious condition.
