Ukrainian air defence downs 95 drones out of 115 launched by Russia, with hits recorded at 11 locations

Russian forces attacked Ukraine using 115 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones on the night of 24-25 February. About 60 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Details: Early reports indicate that as of 07:30, Ukrainian air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 95 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.

Hits by 18 UAVs were recorded at 11 locations.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.

The attack is ongoing, as several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
