Russians attack critical and transport infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv Oblast

The Russians attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with Shahed-131/136-type drones on the night of 24-25 February and on the early morning of 25 February, targeting critical and transport infrastructure in the city of Mykolaiv and the Voznesensk district.

In addition, the Russians carried out two first-person view (FPV) drone attacks on the Ochakiv hromada the previous day. No injuries were reported. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Background: On 14 February, a combined heat and power plant in Mykolaiv was shut down as a result of Russian attacks. Mykolaivvodokanal, a local water utility company, and Mykolaivoblteploenergo, a local heating utility company, partially switched to generator power.
