Ukrainian airborne troops break through Russian defences on Oleksandrivka front

Units from the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces have broken through the Russian defensive line on the Oleksandrivka front in Ukraine's south.

Quote: "Units from Ground Reconnaissance Combat Group CG132 of the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion, within the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces, have breached the enemy's defensive line on the Oleksandrivka front.

The operation has wiped out enemy firing positions, manpower and ammunition storage sites belonging to the occupiers.

Thanks to the professional actions of the reconnaissance troops, the enemy's plans for a further offensive have been foiled. This has enabled a foothold to be established for a tactical advance by friendly units."
