Russia claims Ukrainian drones behind attack on gas carrier in Mediterranean Sea

Russia's transport ministry has claimed that the Russian-flagged tanker Arctic Metagaz, which was transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG), was attacked in the Mediterranean Sea on 3 March near Malta's territorial waters.

Details: Russia's transport ministry says all 30 crew members, citizens of Russia, were rescued thanks to coordinated actions by Maltese and Russian rescue services.
The ministry of the country waging war against Ukraine qualifies the incident as "an act of international terrorism and maritime piracy".
