Russia attacks Ukraine with 141 drones: 111 UAVs downed, attack rages on

The Russians have attacked Ukraine with 141 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas attack drones and other types of drones since the evening of 5 March. Ukrainian forces have managed to down 111 UAVs. The attack is still ongoing.

Quote: "As of 08:30, [Ukrainian] air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 111 Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas loitering munitions, as well as other types of drones in the country's north, south and east.
Hits by 24 UAVs had been recorded at 16 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at one location."
Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from Hvardiiske and Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 100 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces have been involved in repelling the attack.
As of 08:00, the attack is ongoing, as several enemy drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
