Trump says he will work with Israel on decisions about ending fighting with Iran

US President Donald Trump has said that the decision on ending the fighting with Iran will be taken in coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Quote: "I think it's mutual… a little bit. We've been talking. I'll make a decision at the right time, but everything's going to be taken into account."

Details: Trump stressed that although Netanyahu's opinion would be taken into account, the final decision would remain with him.

When asked whether Israel would be able to continue the war against Iran if the US stopped its strikes, Trump said: "I don't think it's going to be necessary."

He also stated that Iran would have destroyed Israel if it had not been for the joint actions of the US and Israel.

Quote: "Iran was going to destroy Israel and everything else around it… We've worked together. We've destroyed a country that wanted to destroy Israel."
