Russian drone drops explosives on bus in Kherson: 20 injured

Twenty people were injured when Russian forces attacked a bus in Kherson on the afternoon of 11 March.

Details: Investigators say the Russians dropped explosives from a UAV onto a bus in Kherson at about 12:40.

Quote: "Early reports indicate that four bus passengers sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity as a result of this attack. They are receiving medical treatment.
Information is being gathered."

Details: Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime under Article 438.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Together with prosecutors, they continue to document the war crimes committed by Russian forces.
Update: Prokudin later said Russian forces directed the drone at the bus carrying passengers in broad daylight. The vehicle was destroyed as a result of the strike.

At that time, ten people were reported injured, including a 17-year-old boy.
Women aged 49, 64, 58, 37, 45 and 57, as well as men aged 41, 48 and 60, were taken to hospital. At least one person was in a serious condition. The teenager received medical assistance at the scene.

At 14:21, Kherson Oblast Military Administration reported that the number of those injured had risen to 20.
Women aged 48, 46, 57, 59 and 40, as well as men aged 51, 58 and 52, were taken to hospital. They were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
Doctors are currently providing them with the necessary medical treatment.
