Russian authorities had earlier reported the attack on the oil depot, saying 26 fire appliances were deployed to extinguish the fire.

The source added that a significant blow has been dealt to Russian oil logistics by the overnight strike on the Tikhoretsk station and the 2 March attack on oil infrastructure at the port of Novorossiysk.

For reference: The Tikhoretsk oil hub is one of the largest oil transshipment points in Russia's south. It hosts a major oil depot and terminal that plays an important role in the logistics of Russian fuel and petroleum products.

Background: Earlier, the Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters and the Russian outlet Astra reported that drones had attacked an oil depot in the Tikhoretsk district on the night of 11-12 March, causing a fire covering 150 sq m.
