World's largest oil company wants to buy Ukraine interceptor drones

Saudi Aramco has been holding talks with at least two Ukrainian companies about buying interceptor drones that could help protect their facilities from Iranian attacks targeting oil fields.

Details: According to the sources, the company is trying to secure supplies of such drones as quickly as possible, ahead of its own government and regional competitors, including Qatar.
In particular, Aramco has been in contact with the Ukrainian companies SkyFall and Wild Hornets. They produce interceptor drones that ram other drones or detonate near them.
Aramco is the world's largest oil producer and provides about one-tenth of global supply.
Background:
- Amin Nasser, CEO of state energy company Saudi Aramco, warned of "catastrophic consequences" for the global economy if the war between the US and Iran drags on.
- Key oil producers in the Middle East have continued to cut output as the important shipping route of the Strait of Hormuz remains virtually blocked, exacerbating chaos in energy markets.
