Russia attacks Ukraine with nearly 500 missiles and drones, 28 locations hit

Russian forces conducted a combined strike using 498 drones and missiles on the night of 13-14 March. Ukrainian air defence forces have managed to destroy or jam 460 aerial assets.

  • 13 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (7 destroyed or jammed)
  • 25 Kalibr cruise missiles (all 25 destroyed or jammed)
  • 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles (all 24 destroyed or jammed)
  • 4 Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missile (one destroyed or jammed)
  • 430 drones (402 destroyed or jammed)

Information on the four remaining Russian missiles is being confirmed.

Hits by 6 missiles and 28 UAVs had been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 7 locations.

The Air Force noted that Kyiv Oblast was the main target of the attack.

Background: Russian forces conducted a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 13-14 March, killing four people and injuring at least 15.
